Dear Valued Customers,
We are pleased to inform you that we have comprehensively updated the legal documentation governing our services.
The following documents have been updated:
5. KYC Customer Verification Policy
Why are we making these changes?
These updates are required to ensure compliance with current EU regulations and to enhance the protection of our Customers' rights. The updates address requirements of:
Regulation (EU) 2021/784 (Terrorist Content Online Regulation)
Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act)
Directive (EU) 2019/770 (Digital Content Directive)
Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation)
Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights Directive)
Key improvements for Customers include:
Enhanced refund rights: Full 100% refund during the 14-day withdrawal period, regardless of service usage — exceeding the minimum requirements of EU law
Extended time to remedy: Consumers now have a minimum of 7 days to remedy any breach before service termination
Clearer modification rights: Explicit right to cancel and receive a pro-rata refund if core service functions are materially changed
Improved cancellation process: Simplified procedures with the Contractor required to use reasonable efforts to prevent unwanted renewals for Consumers
Strengthened data protection: Clear legal bases for all data processing, explicit retention periods, and detailed data subject rights
Enhanced complaint mechanisms: Clear procedures for disputes with guaranteed 30-day response time
Preferential pricing protection: Existing subscribers receive a 10% discount from any price increases
Transparent KYC procedures: Data minimisation principles with the right to redact non-essential information
When do these changes take effect?
As these updates are made in compliance with mandatory EU legislation and primarily for the benefit of our Customers, the updated documents take effect immediately for all Customers in accordance with Clause 2.11 of the Agreement.
Your rights — 30-day consideration period
Although the updated terms do not adversely affect your rights, we want to ensure you have sufficient time to review the changes and make an informed decision.
Existing Customers have 30 days from 01 December 2025 until 01 January 2024 to:
- Review the updated documentation
- Contact us with any questions through the Client Area
- Cancel your subscription-based Services if you do not wish to continue under the updated terms
- Choose not to renew your Services at the end of your current billing period
To cancel or manage your Services, please log in to your Client Area.
If you take no action, your continued use of the Services will constitute acceptance of the updated documentation.
Consumer Rights
For Customers who qualify as Consumers under applicable law, these updates do not limit any mandatory statutory rights, including:
- The right of withdrawal within 14 days from placing a new Order
- Rights under Directive (EU) 2019/770 regarding conformity of digital services
- Rights under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) regarding your personal data
If you believe that any specific change adversely affects your rights, please contact us through the Client Area, and we will address your concerns in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.
